Banepa, Nepal sits high in Asia’s Himalayas. Mugonero, Rwanda nestles near placid Lake Kivu in central Africa. Iquitos, Peru is a beyond-roads jungle capital on the Amazon River in South America. Haiti, an impoverished island in the Caribbean, is still in recovery from the 2010 earthquake.
Global Health Initiatives, the Centura Health medical mission program started in 2005, sends volunteers to these remote locations where partnerships have been established with other faith-based hospitals. Our medical teams provides no-cost surgical, medical and community health programs, education and training where healthcare is very limited or extremely difficult to obtain.
